Chris Catone (b. 1987) is a pianist, composer, producer and educator from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is an active composer of sacred, chamber and film music. In addition to composing, Chris performs as an freelance pianist, organist, electronic musician and music director throughout the Pittsburgh region. His own compositions have been performed by Alia Musica Pittsburgh, Trillium Ensemble, A Far Cry Ensemble, The Heinz Chapel Compline Choir, Kassia Ensemble, Katie Palumbo, Khasma Piano Duo and others. His multimedia piece "The Mill" was featured on the PBS/WQEDTV program, Filmmaker's Corner and in the 2021 Arkhaios Film Festival.  His scores have been featured in independent films at the Four Points Film Festival, the Los Angeles 48hr Film Festival and others. In Los Angeles, Chris worked as a score technical engineer at Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Studios.  He currently holds positions as Associate Director of Music and Organist at St. Paul Cathedral, music/music technology faculty at Community College of Allegheny County and maintains a private studio of piano students.  For more information visit: https://www.chriscatone.com/
