The University of Pittsburgh, in collaboration with the Departments of Theatre Arts, Music, and the University Library System, presents A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and Roger Zahab. The performance will take place at Heinz Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 28 and Friday January 29. Both performances take place at 10 p.m.
A Christmas Carol is an innovative reading of Dickens’ classic directed by Lisa Jackson Schebetta and conducted by Roger Zahab with gifted actor/singers from Theatre Arts and Music Departments joined by guest artists playing about 40 roles, an orchestra of 6 musicians and the Pitt Handbell Ensemble to benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. This production is part of the The University's Year of the Humanities celebration.
Admission: a donation of any amount (large or small) will support the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
