Men's Glee Club

The University of Pittsburgh Men's Glee Club, founded in 1890, is the oldest student extra-curricular activity, as well as Pitt's oldest musical ensemble. In addition to its performances in the greater Pittsburgh area and around campus, the Club has a rich history of touring, both domestically and internationally. In the states, the Club has performed is such major cities as Austin, Boston, Chicago Cleveland, Hartford, New York City, Philadelphia and San Antonio. It most recently toured to the greater Los Angeles area, where it sang a series of concerts in Newport Beach, Pasadena, Santa Monica and Huntington Beach. The Glee Club is looking forward to touring to the Washington, DC and Baltimore areas in March, 2024. In Europe, the Club has sung in the Cathedrals of Budapest, Florence, Paris, Salzburg, Vienna and Zagreb. It also sang a concert of sacred music at the Pantheon in Rome. In addition, the group has performed as part of choral festivals in Amsterdam, Bologna, and Ghent. The Club is planning to return to Europe in 2025, touring to Northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia.
