Kick-off Concert by the Pitt Jazz Ensemble.

Open Jazz Jam Session
Open to all university students from the region.

Thursday, Oct. 31

Student Composition Showcase
Pitt solo performers, duos and trios will perform original compositions.

Friday, Nov. 1

1 p.m.
Graduate Student Research Presentations
Three Pitt jazz graduate students will discuss the topics of their research.

4 – 5:30 p.m.
Jazz Panel Discussion: Performing Creative Resistance
Panelists including Jazz Studies Associate Professor Michael Heller and Assistant Professor Aaron Johnson will explore how jazz relates to social justice.
