Pitt music department organist Kenneth Danchik will play a solo organ recital this coming Sunday, October 2, 3:30 PM at nearby Saint Paul Cathedral on Fifth Avenue where he serves as Cathedral organist.  The program features music by Parisian organist-composers Theordore Dubois, Jean Langlais, Cesar Franck, Jehan Alain, Louis-Nicholas Clerambault, and Joseph Bonnet. The organ is a mechanical action 1962 Rudolph von Beckerath of 4 manuals and 97 ranks.  The one-hour program is free and open to the public. All are welcome to attend.
