World renowned jazz pianist Geri Allen joins Pitt's Symphony Orchestra as soloist on Mary Lou Williams' Zodiac Suite. The program also includes Philip Thompson's double bass concerto, Finney's Prayer, with soloist Andrew Kohn, the premiere of Andrew Kohn's trombone concerto, Finney's Birthplace, with soloist Kevin McManus, and Carnival Overture by Hector Berlioz.
