Mathew Rosenblum will have several performances here and abroad this fall including the Danish and South American premieres of Möbius Loop (Copenhagen, Mexico City) by the Rascher Saxophone Quartet, and Shadow Waltz, for microtonally tuned piano. Shadow Waltz will be performed by Alan Feinberg at the Guggenheim Museum’s Works and Process series on September 21st and 22nd. Yonah’s Dream, a microtonal-klezmer excursion for flute and the Harry Partch Instruments, will be premiered at Kasser Theater, Montclair State University, on December 13 featuring guest artist Stefani Starin.
