Burkhardt Reiter's (PhD '05) composition, the twelfth of november (for violin and recorded synthesis), will be performed by violinist Leah Givelber at the 2008 College Music Society National Conference in Atlanta, Georgia on September 27. Burkhardt's work was selected by the audience at the 2008 Super-Regional Northeastern/Mid Atlantic Conference, held in Gettysburg, PA last April.
