Amy Williams Wins Howard Foundation Fellowship

Amy Williams, Assistant professor of composition and theory, is the recipient of a $25,000 fellowship for music composition from the George A. and Eliza Gardner Howard Foundation. The fellowships are awarded for the 2008–09 academic year. Williams is one of 11 recipients representing the fields of music (composition, performance, musicology), playwriting and yheatre studies. She will use the grant to continue work on her Cineshape series inspired by films.
