Heinz Chapel Choir presents a cappella music for the holidays, featuring sacred and popular music in the beauty of Heinz Chapel.
On October 14th, Heinz Chapel Choir, Men’s Glee Club, and Women’s Choral Ensemble join together in Bellefield Hall Auditorium for a celebration of choral music. Heinz Chapel Choir will present a cappella music from Russia, Norway, Finland, and England (including the Beatles' Penny Lane). The Women’s Choral Ensemble will feature settings of a prayer by St. Francis of Assisi and a Chinese proverb, while the Men’s Glee Club will offer music from Hans Leo Hassler to Hoagy Carmichael.
Heinz Chapel Choir will give a free Campus Holiday Concert at 5:15 on December 1 at Heinz Chapel. Join the Choir for this venerable holiday tradition.
Hear Heinz Chapel Choir before they leave for their 2012 tour of Peru. The Choir will visit Lima, Arequipa, Puno, and Cusco, presenting the varied concert repertoire for which they are so well known. The Choir's spring concert will feature folk and classical music from around the world along with popular classics like When I'm Sixty-four and Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Come to Heinz Chapel and give the choir an encouraging sendoff!

The Spring 2011 Honors Recital wil feature outstanding undergraduate students Harry Jamison, Naomi Latorraca, Ellyn Mayher, Ellen Romich, Wil Snead, Nicholas Stamatakis, and Rebecca Theophanus performing music by Prokofiev, Bloch, Franck, Ravel, and Schubert.
