Pianist Donna Amato and violinist Warren Davidson team up for a concert of music for violin and piano (or piano and violin). The program features Carson Cooman's Sonata #3 for Violin and Piano, Opus 950. Cooman himself will present for the performance. Also on the program are John Williams' famous Theme from Schindler's List, Beethoven's Sonata in A major for piano and violin, Opus 12, #2, and Carlos Gardel's Tango (Por una Cabeza).

Donna Amato is on the piano faculty at Pitt and Carnegie Mellon and maintains a very active schedule of performances and recording. Warren Davidson is a Department of Music alum (Composition and Theory) who is very active as an orchestral concertmaster, recitalist, and teacher, and is comfortable in a wide variety of musical styles. He is on the music faculty at Slippery Rock University.
