March 17, 2018 - 8:00pm

Copresented with The Andy Warhol Museum

The groundbreaking NYC ensemble performs Elena Medoza’s Nebelsplitter, Douglas Boyce’s Etude, Kyle Bartlett’s Twitch, Mario Davidovsky’s Quartetto #3, And Gabriel Erkoreka’s Rondo.

counter)induction's mission since its inception has been clear: world-class performances of contemporary chamber music, without hype and without agenda other than our complete commitment to the most compelling music of our day.

With five exceptional players (Miranda Cuckson, violin; Jessica Meyer, viola; Karen Ouzounian, cello; Benjamin Fingland, clarinet; Ning Yu, piano) and three composers (Kyle Bartlett, Douglas Boyce, Ryan Streber), counter)induction focuses on programming that is provocative, insightful, and unexpected.
