Men’s Glee Club 125th Anniversary Celebration

Join us as we celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the University of Pittsburgh Men's Glee Club. The Men's Glee Club, founded in 1890, is the oldest non-athletic extracurricular activity on campus. The Anniversary Celebration Concert will feature works by Gallus, Croce, Mozart, and Mendelssohn, as well as selections from the broadway musicals, West Side Story and Carousel. Furthermore, the Glee Club will premiere a newly commissioned work by Rosephanye Powell, Bright is The Ring of Words, with text by Robert Louis Stevenson.

The Anniversary Celebration will include a number of exciting events on March 27 and 28th. Download the complete schedule and invitation so you can be there to cheer on the Glee Club on for their next 125 years!

For concert tickets, call 412-624-7529 or visit music.pitt.edu/tickets. Tickets in advance: general admission is $8.50; non-Pitt students and seniors are $5. At the door: general admission is $15; non-Pitt students and seniors are $10. Pitt students: free with valid ID.
