Farah Jasmine Griffin, William B. Ransford Professor of English and Comparative Literature and African-American Studies at Columbia University, will give a lecture titled "The Ethereal Soul of Syreeta Wright, Minnie Riperton and Deniece Williams."
This lecture by Professor Griffin will coincide with Women’s History Month and will address discussions surrounding critical race theory and the issue of race in twentieth-century America. While spearheaded by the Department of Music, this talk will have wide interest for faculty and students throughout the University and, indeed, beyond the University’s borders.
