Congratulations to the cast and orchestra!
The University of Pittsburgh Repertory Theatre joins forces with the University of Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra to bring the full strength and power of this macabre musical thriller to life on stage. University of Pittsburgh Repertory Theatre's production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleeet Street will feature Pitt's Symphony Orchestra in the pit under the direction of Roger Zahab, and Glee Club director Richard Teaster as Sweeney. This marks the first time the Department of Music and The Department of Theatre Arts have collaborated on a production and hopefully, it will be the first of many. You can follow Pitt Rep's production blog and get information about tickets at www.play.pitt.edu.
