The next Thursday Noon Recital will feature students playing each others' original compositions.

February 17, 2014 - 8:00pm

The next Music Monday will feature guitar instructor Jim Ferla performing with his students and Roger Zahab. The program will feature popular American songs, traditional music, compositions by Astor Piazolla, Roger Zahab, David Leisner, and much more.

January 27, 2014 - 8:00pm

Violinist Roger Zahab and pianist Robert Frankenberry perform music by Jeremy Beck, Daron Hagen, Eric Moe, John Fitz Rogers, Reza Vali, and Zahab's own composition.

The next Thursday Noon Recital includes vocal music by Bellini, Scarlatti, and Ellington and music for violin and piano by Corelli.

November 18, 2013 - 8:00pm

The next Music Monday includes music by Rodgers and Hart, Franz Danzi, Franz Anton Hoffmeister, Max Bruch, and Sergie Rachmaninoff, performed by  our talented undergrads, grad students, and faculty.

November 14, 2013 - 12:00pm

The next Thursday Noon Recital features pianist Ben Clifton performing his original composition, Devotion.

The next Thursday Noon Recital takes place on November 7 and includes music by Bruch, Schubert, Chopin, and Bach.
 

October 28, 2013 - 8:00pm

The next Music Monday at Bellefield Hall will feature talented Department of Music’s undergraduates performing a wide variety of solo and chamber music by Skryabin, Henze, and Schubert. In addition, pianist Benjamin Binder, a member of the music faculty at Duquesne University, will join Pitt faculty member Roger Zahab in a performance of Brahms’s Sonata in G Major, op. 78 for violin and piano.

October 10, 2013 - 12:00pm

The first Thursday Noon Recital of the fall includes music by Orlando Gibblons, Henry Purcell, and Jean Marie Leclair.

September 23, 2013 - 8:00pm

Entelechron (Roger Zahab, violin; David Russell, cello; and Robert Frankenberry, piano) will perform music by Harrison Birtwistle, Jonathan Bailey Holland, Daron Hagen, Gilda Lyons and Toru Takemitsu. The concert is free to the public.
