Carpathian Music Ensemble at Frick Art Museum November 6

The Carpathian Music Ensemble will perform as part of a series of Fabergé education programs presented by the Frick Art Museum auditorium (Point Breeze) on Sunday, November 6 at 2:30 p.m. The performance is part of the Fabergé exhibit at the Frick that runs until January 15. The ensemble will present a unique afternoon of music and performance inspired by the homeland of Fabergé. Founded and directed by Professor of Ethnomusicology Adriana Helbig, the University of Pittsburgh Carpathian Music Ensemble offers a special program of Russian folk music as well as folk music from surrounding countries such as Belarus and Ukraine.

Tickets are $8 for members and students; $10 for non-members and guests; Advance registration and pre-payment strongly suggested.
